If you also keep a servant or maid in your house and trust them, then be careful. The servant or maid working in your house can cheat you of lakhs of rupees anytime. They can empty your house. Such cases are coming to light every day. The latest case is from Thane district of Maharashtra. Where the servant of the house along with his accomplices stole goods worth lakhs.
Giving information about this incident to PTI, a Thane Police official said that this theft incident is from Dombivali area of Thane. Where three people have been arrested in connection with the theft of valuables worth Rs 15.5 lakh from a house.
The incident took place on July 27 when a servant of the house along with his accomplices broke into a bedroom of the same house. Giving information in this case, Sanjay Pawar, Senior Inspector of Vishnu Nagar Police Station, said that they stole many items including watches and Indian and foreign currency, which cost Rs 15.52 lakh.

The police took the help of CCTV footage and technical surveillance to solve the case. Intelligence was also gathered from informers. The police officer said that on August 3, the police arrested three people from Navi Mumbai and Bengaluru, out of which one accused is 27 years old and the other two are 45 years old.
According to the police officer, stolen goods worth Rs 6.96 lakh have been recovered from the accused. He said that the accused are residents of Nepal. Police said that the main accused in this case, i.e. the house servant, is still absconding. His search is on.
