On 24th August, the police found the body of a young man soaked in blood in the jungle of village Karonda Mahajan in Fugana police station area of Muzaffarnagar. He was identified as Vikas, a resident of Kharad village. One of his friends has been arrested in this case. The deceased was having an affair with the accused’s sister.
The police had filled the Panchnama of the dead body and sent it for postmortem. When the matter was investigated seriously, it was found that the deceased youth Vikas and his friend used to work together. On the evening of 23 August, both of them had left for home from work together.
When the police took Vikas’s friend into custody and interrogated him strictly, the whole matter was revealed. SP Rural Aditya Bansal said that the accused told that the deceased youth Vikas was his friend. Vikas was having an affair with his sister. Due to this, Vikas used to talk to his sister on the phone continuously.
When the accused got to know about this, he became very angry. Then on the evening of the 23rd, when both of them were returning home from work, they sat in a forest on the way and drank alcohol. During this, the accused got angry and brutally killed his friend Vikas by hitting him with a brick. After this, he fled from the spot.
