He said that his target is to deliver 10 such sleeper trains before the end of the financial year 2024-25.

Vande Metro is also being tested
On the increasing demand for rail travel, the Railway Minister said that an average of 2500 general coaches will be made in the next few months. Apart from this, 10 thousand additional general coaches will also be made soon, so that there is no problem related to availability. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav did not only give information about Vande Bharat Sleeper. He also mentioned the Vande Metro train being built to cover short distances i.e. 150-200 km. He said that Vande Metro is being tested and it will increase passenger facilities.
