A suspected case of honour killing has come to light in Jhunjhunu district of Rajasthan. Where a man was shot dead by his in-laws. During this, the victim’s wife somehow managed to escape from the spot. Now the police is investigating the whole matter. However, all the accused are still said to be absconding.

This sensational incident is from Surajgarh area of ​​Jhunjhunu district where Ankit and his wife Monika lived. According to PTI, on Tuesday night suddenly about half a dozen people entered their house. These people included Monika’s brother Rinku and many others. As soon as they entered the house, the accused first attacked Ankit with a sword and then shot him.

During this attack, Monika somehow managed to escape from the house and ran through the fields. Therefore, the attackers could not catch her. Police said that apart from Rinku, some of the accused have been identified as Pritam, Daulat and Ashok Vikas.

In the preliminary investigation, the police found out that Ankit and Monika were in a relationship for a long time. Due to which they got married about seven months ago without informing their family members. Now both of them were living happily in Surajgarh area.

But Monica’s family was extremely upset with this. They were burning with the fire of revenge against Ankit. Because Monica’s family was against their marriage from the very beginning. Therefore, Monica’s brother Rinku along with his friends hatched this bloody conspiracy and carried it out.

The police has taken Ankit’s body into custody and sent it for postmortem. Now efforts are being made to arrest all the accused, including Rinku, involved in this murder case. The police is continuously raiding in search of them.
