cm vishnu dev sai On Budget 2024: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai praised the budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and said that this budget will prove to be an important step towards making a developed India and a developed Chhattisgarh. He said that every section of the state will benefit from the various announcements of this budget. The Chief Minister said that many important announcements have been made in the budget for the poor and the farmers. Under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, it has been said that more than 80 crore people will be benefited. This will provide food security to the poor families of Chhattisgarh. Also, information of 6 crore farmers will be brought on the land registry and new Kisan Credit Cards will be issued in 5 states. He said that the budget will provide financial security and necessary resources for agriculture to the farmers of Chhattisgarh.

Expressed happiness over the announcement made for the youth

Expressing happiness over the announcement made for the youth in the budget, CM Sai said that the scheme of increasing the amount of Mudra loan from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 20 lakh and giving internship to 5 crore youth in 500 top companies will provide new employment opportunities to the youth of Chhattisgarh. On the special scheme for women in the budget, the Chief Minister said that this is an important step towards empowerment. He said that a provision of Rs 3 lakh crore has been made for schemes benefiting women and girls. This will provide economic independence and social security to the women of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Sai said that important announcements have been made in the budget for education and health. The scheme of e-vouchers for education loan and removal of custom duty on cancer medicines will provide great relief to the students and patients of the state. He said that this will improve the education and health sector of Chhattisgarh and people will get better facilities. Vishnudev Sai praised the Suryaghar Free Electricity Scheme in the budget. He said that under this, the scheme of providing free electricity up to 300 units every month to 1 crore houses will provide energy security in the rural and urban areas of Chhattisgarh and solve the electricity problems.

Relief from standard deduction for salaried people

The Chief Minister said that increasing the standard deduction for salaried people from 50 thousand to 75 thousand in the budget is a relief for the taxpayers. He said that no tax will have to be paid from 0 to 3 lakh. This will provide financial relief to the employed people of Chhattisgarh. Sai said that this is a big relief for the taxpayers and will make their lives simpler. The Chief Minister said that a policy will be brought in the budget for the creative redevelopment of cities and it has been said to complete the Polavaram irrigation project. This will develop the infrastructure in the urban and rural areas of Chhattisgarh and ensure water security. Sai said that these schemes will accelerate the development of the state.

Welcome to the announcement for tribals

On the Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan Yojana for tribals in the budget, the Chief Minister said that this scheme is an important step for the development of tribal communities. Under this, 5 crore tribal people in 63,000 villages will get benefits. This will improve the socio-economic condition of the tribal community of Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, special attention has been given to innovation, research and development in the budget. Chief Minister Sai said that schemes to transform research in agriculture, expert monitoring, and promotion of new varieties according to the climate will provide the benefits of new technologies and resources to the farmers of Chhattisgarh.
