The boy who was kidnapped because he was dressed in good clothes, turned out to be the son of an auto driver… The gang found out after taking him 500 km away

Rajasthan News: A boy who was kidnapped from Jaipur was rescued by Rajasthan Police from Solan, Himachal Pradesh, about 500 km away, after five days. Five accused have been arrested in this case. The miscreants had seen the boy in good clothes and kidnapped him thinking him to be the son of a rich man. Whereas the father of the kidnapped boy is an auto rickshaw driver. The special thing is that the main accused in this incident is a software engineer. The engineer had committed this crime with his friends to compensate for the loss in a business.

In a case of kidnapping of a youth, Jaipur Police not only freed him from the clutches of the criminals, but also went to the hotel in Himachal where the criminals had held him hostage and surprised the criminals in such a way that even the criminals were stunned. Police also made a video of rescuing the boy safely. As soon as the brave police entered the hotel room, they said – “Anuj, stand up son… this is Jaipur Police, stay happy, we have come for you only.”

Not only this, the police released a young man named Anuj, who had to face torture at the hands of miscreants for 5 days, on his birthday and gave a unique gift to his family.

They put tape on his mouth, tied his hands and legs and took him in the car

Police Commissioner Biju George Joseph said, on August 18, Anuj had gone for a walk with a friend on Jaipur’s Nahargarh hill. During this time, the miscreants present there thought that Anuj was from a rich family after seeing him wearing good clothes and after tying his hands and legs with tape on his mouth, they took him away in the car. At the same time, they beat up his friend and threw him on the road and fled. On receiving the information, the Brahmapuri police station reached the spot and searched the hill with a drone but Anuj was not found. After this, the police expressed the possibility of kidnapping due to some dispute and many police teams were engaged in the operation.

demanded a ransom of 20 lakh rupees

During this time, the kidnappers contacted Anuj’s family and demanded a ransom of Rs 20 lakh. The auto driver father denied having that much money and asked for time to raise the money. During this time, the police kept searching for the kidnappers by tracing the phone number. But the kidnappers kept changing their location to fool the police and finally they took the money and asked Anuj to sit in the last compartment of the Kalka-Shimla Express train.

When asked to throw the bag of money, he was caught

As per the plan, police teams had deployed teams on the train route. As soon as the kidnappers asked to throw the bag of money near Dharampur railway station, the police caught a young man standing there. After interrogating the accused, the police caught other accused one after the other. After this, the police reached the hotel where Anuj was held hostage. A criminal was also sleeping next to Anuj in the room, but he did not get any clue about the police action. After this, the police freed the kidnapped boy safely and arrested 4 youths besides a woman involved in the kidnapping incident.

Software engineer turned out to be the mastermind

The accused arrested by the police are Virendra Singh, Vinod, Amit Kumar, Jitendra Bhandari and Jamuna Sarkar. According to the police, the mastermind of the crime is Virendra Singh, a software engineer who has done oil business.

Conspiracy hatched after loss in business

Due to loss in business and being equipped with technical resources, he along with his old acquaintances Amit Kumar and Vinod Singh and with the help of his live-in partner Jamuna Sarkar, hatched a plan of kidnapping and extorting ransom.

Anuj is kidnapped using code words

Virendra Singh’s gang, who was involved in this planning, sat on the top of Jaipur’s Nahargarh hill on August 18. They used sleeping pills, water bottles, cutting tapes, ropes and other sharp tools like knives and screwdrivers along with the vehicle to carry out the kidnapping. After this, they kidnapped Anuj using code words in the dark through walkie-talkie, but now they have been caught by the police.
