The bomb was smuggled to Tehran two months ago, months of planning… this is how Israel executed Mission Haniya Killing

Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh had gone to Tehran to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Iran’s newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian. He was assassinated in the guesthouse of the Iranian army IRGC where he was staying. But now the news is that the bomb with which Haniyeh was killed was smuggled to Tehran two months ago.

According to the New York Times report, the remote-controlled bomb used to kill Ismail Haniya was placed in the same room in the Tehran guesthouse where Haniya was staying two months ago.

The report quoted several officials, including two members of Iran’s army Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), as saying this. This new disclosure is completely different from the initial reports, which said that Haniya was killed in a missile attack.

The report quoted some Iranian officials as saying that the killing of Haniya in Tehran was a matter of great embarrassment for the IRGC because it operates the same guesthouse where Haniya and other dignitaries stayed.

Haniya was staying at an IRGC compound called Neshahat in Tehran. This compound is used for secret meetings and to accommodate high profile guests like Haniya.

How did the explosion happen?

IRGC officials say that Haniya died in a bomb blast. This bomb was remote controlled. As soon as the blast occurred, part of the guesthouse compound wall collapsed, windows broke. However, the explosion did not cause much damage to the room next to Haniya’s. Palestine Islamic Jihad leader Ziad Nakhleh was staying in that room. This confirms that there was a foolproof plan to kill Haniya.

According to the report, as soon as the bomb blast took place in Haniya’s room at 2 am local time, the medical staff of the compound reached there. Haniya was declared dead on the spot. Haniya’s bodyguard was also declared dead.
Khalil al-Haya, a senior Hamas official, also reached the spot, where he saw Haniya’s body. After this, Ismail Ghani, the commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, immediately woke up Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei from sleep and told him that Haniya had been killed.

In the report, an official said that such a blast requires months of planning and surveillance. Some Iranian officials say that they do not know how and when this bomb was brought to Haniya’s room. But some officials associated with the Middle East say that it was planted in Haniya’s room roughly two months ago.

The report states that the way Haniya was targeted with precision suggests that the bomb was operated by remote control. A similar bomb was used by Israel’s Mossad in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen in 2020.

Israel has maintained silence on Haniya’s death

Iran has blamed Israel for the death of Ismail Haniya in Tehran. But Israel has neither confirmed nor denied the attack. After this, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei ordered the Iranian army to attack Israel. Khamenei ordered this attack after an emergency meeting of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council.

Let us tell you that earlier on the midnight of 13th April when Iran attacked Israel with drones and missiles, Syria and Iraq also got involved in it. At the same time, Lebanon’s Iran-backed extremist group Hezbollah also attacked the Israeli military base in Syria.

At the same time, after Iran’s order of attack, the Israeli army has also responded. Israeli Air Force Commander Major General Tomer Bar said that the Air Force defends and attacks the country in every field of war. We are ready to give a befitting reply in any situation. Whoever plans to harm Israel and Israeli citizens, we will give them a befitting reply. There is no place which is beyond our reach or where we cannot attack.
