The accused of brutalizing and murdering a lady doctor had married four times, 3 wives left him due to his bad conduct

A big revelation has been made about Sanjay Roy, the prime accused in the case of brutality and murder of a lady doctor in Kolkata. The accused had married four times, but his previous three wives had left him because of his bad conduct. This claim was made by his neighbours in a conversation with Aaj Tak.

According to the neighbours of the accused Sanjay Roy, he had married four times. His three wives had left him due to his misbehaviour. While the fourth wife died of cancer last year. Neighbours said that the accused often returned home late at night in a drunken state.

However, Sanjay Roy’s mother Malti Roy denied the allegations against her son and claimed that he had confessed to the crime under pressure from the police. She said that my son is innocent. He had confessed to the crime under pressure from the police.

Sanjay Roy was arrested for his involvement in the rape and murder of a lady doctor at RG Kar Medical College in North Kolkata. The body of the 31-year-old victim was found in the seminar hall of the hospital.

The four-page post-mortem report revealed that there were injury marks on other parts of the lady doctor’s body. The report said that the deceased was bleeding from both her eyes and mouth, there were injury marks on her face and a nail as well. Blood was oozing from the victim’s private parts. There were also injury marks on her stomach, left leg, neck, right hand, ring finger and lips.

Police have charged Sanjay Roy under sections 64 (rape) and 103 (murder) of the BNS and he was produced before the Sealdah court, which sent him to police custody till August 23.

The incident has sparked outrage among doctors, nursing staff and medical students in the city. Junior doctors and students from various government hospitals, including RG Kar Medical College, National Medical College and Medical College, Kolkata, held protests and processions. Similar protests were also held at district hospitals like Bardhaman Medical College and Bankura Sammilani Medical College, demanding strict punishment for the accused and increased safety of women in hospitals.
