Texas border gun shop owner says more women buying guns since Biden-Harris ‘opened’ border

A Texas gun shop owner says he’s seen a significant increase in gun purchases as the border crisis has impacted the community of Del Rio, Texas.

Gary Humphreys, owner of Humphrey’s Gun Shop, located Del Rio Since 1973, he has spoken to Fox News Digital about how border issues have affected his business.

“Since this border has opened, we’re getting new people who have never owned guns and are buying them,” he said.

Humphrey discussed clients that he has seen increase after implementing through border policies Biden-Harris Administration

“Getting a lot of women who have never owned a gun before they buy one.”

Humphrey said, “It’s very scary in there” and there was an incident when someone broke down her front door.

“People who don’t live on the border don’t know what’s really going on,” he stressed.

Humphrey added that the crisis has been going on for three years since President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, who is now running for president herself.

Residents living together the border Harris expressed overwhelming support for former President Trump to return to the White House to secure the southern border.

“100% Trump,” Humphreys enthused, adding that if Trump is elected, he will reinstate his administration’s border policies.

According to a Fox News survey last month, concern about the border has increased the most since February among those under 30 (+20 points), black voters (+19), Democrats (+14), Hispanic voters (+12) and women. (+12).

More blame The Biden administration Lack of enforcement at the border (71% a great deal or some) than the Senate GOP for former President Trump and the failed immigration law (57%).

The survey also asked about policy ideas regarding immigration and border security and found 63% in favor of sending illegal immigrants back to their homes. That’s down from 67% in 2023, but nowhere near the low favorability of 52% in 2015, the first time it was asked.

Trump also has a 19-point lead over Harris, who is most trusted to tackle border security.

At the Democratic National Convention, Harris said he would sign a bipartisan Senate border bill that Trump did not support but many conservatives derided as ineffective. The bill would require billions in unused funds to be used on the border wall. However, according to Harris’ advisers, the bill does not provide additional funding for the border wall.
