A Palestinian attacker in Israel stabbed a woman to death and injured three others on Sunday. He was later shot dead by police. The stabbing incident took place during the morning rush hour in the city of Holon, just outside Tel Aviv. The Israeli ambulance service said the attacker attacked people with a knife near a gas station and a park.
According to a report by news agency Reuters, the attacker stabbed a 66-year-old woman multiple times, killing her and seriously injuring two other senior citizens. They have been admitted to the hospital. A young man was also injured. On receiving information about the incident, a large number of police forces reached the spot. An extensive search was conducted with helicopters and drones. The police shot the attacker.
The attacker first attacked two people with a knife at the entry gate of a park on Moshe Dayan Street. A 66-year-old woman died in this, while a 68-year-old man was seriously injured. After this, he went to a nearby bus stop adjacent to a gas station, where he stabbed a 70-year-old man and a 26-year-old man and seriously injured them. Police said that an officer who arrived at the scene shot the attacker.
