Team India Home Schedule Revised: Indian team’s home schedule suddenly changed… Kolkata Police refused to provide security!

Team India’s revised domestic schedule: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has made changes in its domestic season of 2024-25. During this time, the Indian team has to play series against Bangladesh and England at home. There have been some changes for both these series.

The Indian team has to play a 2-match Test series and a 3-match T20 series against Bangladesh at home. The first Test will start from September 19. After this, the second Test will start from September 27. Then the first T20 match of the series between the two teams was to be held in Dharamsala on October 6.

International match will be held in Gwalior after 14 years

But BCCI has changed the venue of this first match. Actually renovation work is going on in the dressing room of Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association due to which the venue has been changed. Now this match will be played at Shrimant Madhavrao Scindia Cricket Stadium in Gwalior.

An international match will be played in Gwalior after 14 years. The last ODI match played on this ground was between India and South Africa in 2010, in which Sachin Tendulkar scored a double century. Sachin then became the first cricketer in the world to score a double century in ODIs.

After Bangladesh, the Indian team has to play the home series directly in January next year. Then the England team will come to India. A 5-match T20 series and a 3-match ODI series will be played between the two teams. First there will be the ODI series, which will start on January 22. BCCI has also made a big change in the schedule of the England series.

The venue was changed on the appeal of Kolkata Police

The board has also changed the venue of the first and second T20 matches against England. The first T20 match of the series was to be held in Chennai on January 22. But now this match will be played in Kolkata. While the second T20 match was to be held in Kolkata on January 25, which will now be held in Chennai. However, the date of the match has not been changed.

Let us tell you that the change in the England series has been made due to the appeal of Kolkata Police. Kolkata Police says that the second T20 match will be held on 25 January, then it will be busy preparing for Republic Day. That is why the police made this appeal to the board.
