Teacher went home after locking the child in the class, gross negligence in UP school

In a school in Muzaffarnagar, the teacher locked a small child studying in class one in the class and went away. After this, when the child did not reach home for hours, the family members started searching for him. Then it was found out that the child was locked in a room inside the school. Then the school teacher was called and the lock of the class was opened. Then the child was taken out.

After this video went viral, the education department of Muzaffarnagar also came into action and the BSA immediately reached the spot and investigated the matter. After this, the in-charge of the school was suspended. This case is of Gujarheri village located in Jansath tehsil area.

Six-year-old student locked in class
It is being told that on Tuesday, Sapna Jain, in-charge of the primary school located in the village and assistant teacher Ravita Rani locked a 6-year-old student of class one, Lucky, in the class and went home after school was over. After this, when the student did not return home after school was over, the family members started searching for him. Then it was discovered that this innocent student was locked inside the classroom and the door was locked from outside.

The assistant teacher’s husband came and opened the lock
When the child’s family informed the school in-charge Sapna Jain about the matter, then assistant teacher Ravita Rani’s husband reached the school and opened the lock of the classroom. Then the student was taken out. During this time, the victim’s family recorded the incident on their mobile and made it viral on social media.

Only two teachers are working in the school
After this, the education department of the district also came into action and then in a hurry Muzaffarnagar Basic Education Officer Sandeep Kumar reached the spot and when inquired, prima facie both the teachers were found guilty. Due to this, by suspending the school in-charge Sapna Jain and giving adverse entry to assistant teacher Ravita Rani, BSA has given the investigation of this case to Jansath Block Education Officer and Shahpur Block Education Officer and ordered to submit the report within a week.

Action taken against both the teachers
Giving more information about this incident, Muzaffarnagar’s District Basic Education Officer Sandeep Kumar said that Block Education Officer Jansath informed me about this incident yesterday evening. Someone also told him that in the primary school in Gurjar Ready of Jansath block, the teacher locked a child in the class and went home.

There are two teachers working in that school. 35 children study there. After school, the teachers locked Lucky, a student of class one, in the classroom and went home. He was taken out after an hour. Sandeep Kumar said that as soon as I came to know about this incident at 7:00 in the evening, I reached the village. I also talked to the parents and villagers. There was some anger among them and that was natural. While talking to them, I felt that these teachers have been extremely negligent and we have found the teachers guilty in this and suspended the in-charge.
