Taylor Swift, one of America’s most famous pop-culture icons with a massive worldwide following, endorsed Kamala Harris immediately after Tuesday night’s presidential debate.
Mrs. Harris and former President Donald J. Ms. Swift’s endorsement, delivered just minutes after Trump stepped off the stage at a debate in Philadelphia, gives Ms. Harris a unique credence in the celebrity world.
“Like many of you, I watched the debate tonight,” Ms Swift wrote to her 283 million followers on Instagram. @kamalaharris Because he fights for rights and I think it takes a warrior to champion them.”
