Tamil Nadu BSP leader murdered: Police have killed a key accused in the murder of Tamil Nadu BSP president. Police said that on Sunday, the murder accused attacked policemen and tried to escape from custody. During this, he was killed in an encounter. Let us tell you, recently Tamil Nadu BSP president K Armstrong was murdered.

Police said that K. Thiruvengadam, the accused in the murder of K. Armstrong, was taken to a place in North Chennai as part of the investigation. During this time, he attacked a policeman and tried to escape, after which an attempt was made to stop him. When he did not stop, a police officer shot him, killing him.

Police were looking for weapons

Police said the accused, Thiruvengadam, was taken there to search for the weapons that were hidden after being used in the BSP leader’s murder. The incident took place during that time. After being shot, the accused was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him dead. Thiruvengadam (30) was one of the 11 accused arrested in the BSP leader Armstrong murder case and was a notorious criminal. A court here had sent all the accused to five-day police custody a few days ago.

The BSP leader was murdered on July 5

Armstrong was murdered by a gang in Chennai on July 5. After this, opposition parties had accused the state of deteriorating law and order. The police and the government had assured to take strict action to punish the criminals. The police also killed a notorious criminal in Pudukottai district on July 11.
