People have started doing anything on social media. Many times such content is seen on Instagram reels which can be a big risk if small children come across it. Recently, a person has raised questions on the post of an influencer who creates such content.
Instagram user Herz Gahle has shared a clip in which another influencer reads a comment on his social media post – ‘I am 12 years old, want to learn online gambling but don’t know how to do it.’ Now he replies to this comment saying – ‘You should have started all this 12 years ago, anyway … now do one thing – take your mother’s credit card and load $ 250’. On this clip, Gahle says- ‘Look, this can have a terrible impact on your children. You have to be careful with such content. Such influencers can force your children to take wrong decisions.’
This video, which has been viewed more than 3.6 lakh times, has received about 4,500 likes. People have given mixed reactions to this. One user said – ‘A case should be filed against the person for this nonsense.’ However, some people said that ‘in the video, the influencer is satirizing the 12-year-old child who commented and not actually teaching something like this.’ On this, Gahle said – ‘Even if this is so, will small children be able to understand this satire, they will get influenced.’
One said, ‘The video seems to be a satire, but gambling is a big deal for children. The right rules and regulations are not being implemented with the internet. Gambling is being promoted for children.’ One user said, ‘If a 12-year-old child cannot understand satire, then it is the parents’ fault. Parents should raise them properly.’ One user said – The truth is that it is not right for children to have both mobile and social media in their hands today.
