In a conversation with We Are Yuva, Tabu said, ‘Every media person talks to females about the difference in fees. Every journalist asks only women, ‘You know a man is paid more, you get less money. So why are you asking me? Why don’t you ask the person who is paying more? How will I know the answer to this question?’ Either you want to sensationalize what I said. You want me to say, ‘I don’t like that I am being paid less.’ I can either say this or I can say, ‘I am happy that I am getting paid.”

The actress further said, ‘Why don’t you go and ask the male actor why he is getting paid more? It would be interesting to hear his point of view. This whole point of view on beauty, I think it looks more interesting when seen from an external perspective. Beauty and physicality are always judged from the viewer’s eye.’

Talking about the film ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’, Tabu is seen with actor Ajay Devgan in it. This is their 10th film together. In the 90s, the pairing of Ajay and Tabu was very much liked. However, their work in this film has received mixed reviews. This film could not earn much at the box office on the first day. ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ collected Rs 2 crore on Friday. Everyone’s eyes are on its weekend earnings.
