Supriya Sule also came to protest in Badlapur, CM Shinde alleged that the opposition called people from outside and caused violence

There is anger across the country over the sexual harassment of girls in Badlapur, Maharashtra. People blocked the railway track on Tuesday in protest against this incident. The school was also vandalized. An FIR has been registered against about 300 people involved in the protest. But now Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s statement has come out on this matter.

CM Shinde has said that local people were not involved in the Badlapur case. People had come from outside for the protest. He said that I have made the role of the government clear. The incident that happened in Badlapur is condemnable. The incident that happened with small girls is sad. Strict action will be taken against the accused. The agitating people stopped the railway. Despite strict orders for action, the reason for stopping the railway was not understood. Opposition people are behind this, politics is being done on this incident. This is condemnable. This protest lasted for eight to nine hours. Local people were not involved in this protest. People from outside were called for the protest.

Supriya Sule’s protest against sexual exploitation of girls

NCP MP Supriya Sule along with party workers protested against the Maharashtra government in protest against the sexual exploitation of girls in Badlapur.

Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) MP Sanjay Raut said on this matter that a heinous crime has been committed against two young girls. Those girls do not even understand what has happened to them? The government is registering criminal cases against those who have come out on the streets to protest against the incident. My question to the Chief Minister is why did your bulldozer not go to Badlapur? Why did you not go yourself?

Leader of Opposition in Maharashtra Vijay Wadettiwar said that this is a very serious matter. The Chief Minister is wrong in saying that this is a political protest. He should verify his claims. Can’t the opposition demand justice? The school affiliated to the BJP delayed taking cognizance of the matter.

Senior lawyer and BJP leader Ujjwal Nikam has been appointed as the special prosecutor in this case. He said that last night the Deputy CM of Maharashtra told me on the phone that the Badalpur incident is serious. He told me on the phone that you should conduct this trial. I told Fadnavis sahab that I will definitely conduct it. The 10-hour rail roko movement was considered a big movement in the history of Maharashtra. I have not received the official notification yet. But when CM sahab and Home Minister sahab say so, then I will definitely conduct this trial with great responsibility.

What is the whole matter?

On learning of this incident, the people of the area came out on the streets in protest and thousands of protesters blocked the railway track at Badlapur station. Due to this, local train services came to a halt. At the same time, the routes of long distance trains had to be changed.
