Ramchait cobbler’s shop is in Sultanpur district of UP. A simple slipper hanging in this shop is being sold at a very high price. Some are ready to pay two lakh rupees for it, while some are ready to pay five lakh rupees. Let us tell you that the reason for this slipper being sold at such a high price is Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Actually, Rahul had come to Sultanpur court on 26th July for appearance. Here he stopped at Ramchait’s shop on the way. During this time, he repaired slippers and shoes with his own hands. Now people want to buy the same slippers. However, Ramchait is not ready to sell it.
While talking to Aaj Tak, Ramchait said that Rahul Gandhi The slippers stitched by him are fetching the desired price. The rate is one lakh, two lakh, five lakh. But he does not want to sell them. According to Ramchait- I will keep it safe as a memory. Ever since Rahul stopped at my shop, there has been a continuous stream of people. Everyone is coming to meet me. Taking photos, talking. Earlier, no one recognized me.
Smiling, Ramchait Mochi says- The shop is now a partnership between me and Rahul. He came to the shop, sat with us and stitched slippers, so half of the shop became his. His arrival changed my life. There has been a big change. People are coming to ask what they want, what is missing?

Ramchait is not ready to sell slippers
According to Ramchait, a few days ago a person called and said that he was calling from Prayagraj. I want the slippers that Rahul Gandhi had stitched. I will give 5 lakhs in return. But I refused. Before this, a man called and said that he will give a bag full of money if you give me those slippers.
But he is not ready to sell the slippers. He says that he will keep this slipper in a mirror and will keep it as a memory. Because, it is because of this that his life has changed. People are recognizing it. During the conversation, Ramchait also showed the slippers which were stitched by Rahul Gandhi.
It is worth mentioning that Rahul Gandhi had sent a shoe stitching machine to the cobbler Ramchait at whose shop he had stopped recently. Congress wrote in one of its posts- “Rahul Gandhi had met cobbler Ramchait ji in Sultanpur (UP) on 26th July, understood the nuances of his work. Now a shoe stitching machine has been sent for him, which will make it easier for Ramchait to stitch shoes. Such is your Rahul, the Rahul of the people.”
