Kolkata trainee doctor murder rape case: Kolkata’s Nirbhaya’s culprit Sanjay Rai is now in CBI custody. CBI wants to know every truth of this incident from him. There are two big reasons behind the allegations
On Monday, the victim’s father made sensational allegations against the Kolkata Police and the medical college administration. The family members say that the police and the former principal of the medical college, Sandip Ghosh, tried to cover up this murder. There are two major reasons behind the family’s allegations. First, the attitude of the police and the medical college administration and second, the victim’s post-mortem report.
Postmortem report made a big revelation
The shocking thing is that the postmortem report of the same case which was first tried to be termed as suicide is testifying the brutality done to the victim. According to the postmortem report, more than 14 injury marks were found on the body of the lady doctor, there are injury marks on the head, both cheeks, lips, nose, right jaw, chin, neck, left hand, shoulder, knee. The victim was murdered by strangulation.
Why were the family members kept in the dark?
The victim’s family alleges that first an attempt was made to pass off the murder as a suicide. Even the evidence was tampered with. According to the family, the role of former principal of RG Kar Medical College, Sandeep Ghosh, is under suspicion in the entire case. After the murder, the family was kept in the dark by the medical college administration. The question is why did the principal of the medical college, Sandeep Ghosh, try to suppress a serious case like rape and murder?
Why was the funeral conducted in a hurry?
The victim’s father made a shocking revelation in front of the media. He said that the victim’s last rites were performed in a hurry. Before the family could understand anything, the police performed the last rites. Now the family is making serious allegations against the Kolkata Police regarding the last rites. The CBI is now investigating this case, but the family alleges that the Kolkata Police tried to complicate the whole case in the initial investigation. Instead of arresting the accused, the police hatched a conspiracy to murder this case.
Police pressure!
Bholanath Patra, the manager of the crematorium where the victim was cremated, told Aaj Tak that he had spoken to the Kolkata Police regarding the victim’s cremation. The police had asked to conduct the victim’s cremation as soon as possible.
Work on four theories
Overall, the CBI team is now working on four theories in this case. On Monday, the CBI team recorded the statements of the victim’s family for 7 hours. The victim’s lawyer again pointed towards gang rape. BJP leader and former MP Locket Chatterjee has raised the suspicion of organ trafficking in Kolkata’s RG Kar Hospital. Which is now also being considered a new theory.

Campaign for justice
Thousands of doctors took to the streets on Monday to get justice for the trainee doctor of RG Kar Hospital. They were demanding justice. Meanwhile, Kolkata Police has arrested a college student for revealing the identity of the trainee doctor. Apart from this, resident doctors of AIIMS in Delhi set up an OPD outside the Health Ministry. They raised slogans demanding security for doctors. They said that the family of the trainee doctor should get justice.
Doctors wrote a letter to PM Modi
71 Padma award winning doctors of the country have also written a letter to PM Modi demanding his intervention in the case. They said that the safety of medical staff should be ensured by bringing an ordinance immediately. Now the CBI has obtained permission from the court to conduct a polygraph test of the accused Sanjay Roy. On one hand, there is burning anger for justice in this case, and on the other hand, there is a lot of politics going on.
