Often if a person involved in theft or snatching is caught by a mob, people beat him up before handing him over to the police. Many times such a mob has even killed a criminal. Recently a similar case came to light where a chain snatcher was surrounded by a mob but what is this, they are not beating him but making him dance.
In this video from Delhi NCR, when the thief was caught red-handed while snatching a gold chain, instead of handing him over to the police, the crowd first beat him up. Then they made him dance to a Haryanvi song. A video of the incident is viral on social media in which some men are standing around the thief and forcing him to dance by playing a song. Other people are also dancing with him, enjoying.
This viral video, which has been viewed nearly 9 lakh times, is constantly being discussed on social media. After watching the video, people could not stop themselves from reacting to it. Some people said that instead of exploiting the thief like this, he should be handed over to the police. At the same time, many other people made fun of the video and said – an amazing punishment has been given in which there is no violence.
An ex-user wrote, ‘Not a single day passes without entertainment in our country.’ Another said- ‘This is harassment, if he has done wrong then call the police and get him arrested, what is the point of making him dance.’ A user said, ‘This is absolutely amazing… A great way to teach a lesson and punish. He will always remember this.’
