A psycho killer who had become synonymous with fear in Bareilly, UP, has finally been arrested. His name is Kuldeep. It is alleged that he killed nine middle-aged women one after the other in about 14 months. All of them were murdered by strangulation in deserted fields. During police interrogation, serial killer Kuldeep told that he was irritated with women. He had started hating them. That is why he used to kill women one by one. Actually, the mother and two sisters of Kuldeep, the psycho killer accused of killing nine women, have died. His father had married a second time. His stepmother used to torture him. When Kuldeep got married, after some time his wife also left him. All these incidents filled his heart and mind with hatred towards women. That is why he started killing women selectively.

Kuldeep told Bareilly police in his confession that his father Baburam had married another woman while his mother was alive. According to Kuldeep, father Baburam used to beat my biological mother at the behest of my step mother. He used to beat me and my sisters too. Due to these atrocities and troubles of my father, my biological mother and both the sisters died.

These incidents created hatred in Kuldeep’s mind. He started behaving like a lunatic. However, he had not become a psycho killer till then. Meanwhile, Kuldeep got married in 2014. But during this time he had become violent. He started beating his wife. Tired of Kuldeep’s torture, his wife left him. After his wife left him, Kuldeep started living in forests and deserted places. Walking on foot, not keeping a mobile, behaving strangely had become his nature.

He had become a drug addict. While staying away from society, the idea of ​​serial killing came to his mind. After which he started targeting women aged between 45 to 55 years (middle-aged). First he used to do recce of the women, when he was satisfied that the woman was alone, he would drag her to the field and strangle her with a sari or dupatta.

After killing the women, psycho killer Kuldeep used to drag their bodies and then tie a knot around their necks. When asked the reason, he said that he wanted to be sure that the women did not survive after he left. Kuldeep has admitted to committing 6 murders sequentially on this pattern.

He used to do this work after killing women

On Friday (9 August), Bareilly SSP Anurag Arya revealed this serial killing and presented Kuldeep in front of the media. During this, he told that Kuldeep has been arrested in connection with some murders in the area. The accused has frustration towards women. If there was any resistance, he used to kill by strangling. The accused has confessed to 6 incidents. At present, interrogation is being done.

According to the police, Kuldeep used to hold women hostage in secluded places and demand sex from them. When the victims protested, Kuldeep used to strangle them to death with their sari/dupatta. After the murder, he used to keep one of the belongings of the deceased with him as a memento, such as a sickle, lipstick, bindi or Aadhar card.

It is worth mentioning that in the last 14 months, 9 women have been murdered within a radius of 25 kms in Shahi and Sheeshgarh police station area of ​​Bareilly. The pattern of all was the same. Police had released sketches regarding this incident. The psycho killer was arrested within 48 hours of releasing the sketch.
