Students will read books written by RSS leaders in MP colleges, Congress expressed objection

A controversy has arisen over the purchase of new books in the colleges of Madhya Pradesh. These books will not be a part of the curriculum but will be kept in the library for the students to study. Some of these books have been written by RSS leaders.

These include books by Suresh Soni and Atul Kothari associated with RSS. Congress has raised objections to RSS books. MP Tourism Minister Dharmendra Lodhi said on this controversy that Congress always gets annoyed at the mention of RSS. Congress along with leftist historians gave education according to their own understanding. If our government teaches about Indian tradition through the new education policy, then what is the problem?

It is being told that Dr. Dhirendra Shukla, a senior official of Madhya Pradesh Higher Education Department, has instructed the principals of all government and private colleges to buy a set of 88 books. These books include books of prominent RSS leaders like Suresh Soni, Dinanath Batra, D Atul Kothari, Devendra Rao Deshmukh, and Sandeep Waslekar. All the authors are associated with Vidya Bharati, the educational wing of RSS. The department has asked the colleges to buy these books as soon as possible.
