‘Stree 2’ earned more than Prabhas-Hrithik’s opening on the sixth day, crossed 350 crores

Rajkumar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘Stree 2’ is creating such a stir in the theatres, which no one had expected. This film, which has been crowding the theatres with huge audiences since the very first day, has broken many big records of earnings.

This film, which was released in theatres on Thursday, has earned so much on the sixth day, which is more than the opening collection of the big films of this year. Apart from this, ‘Stree 2’ has earned double the lifetime collection of ‘Stree’ released in 2018 in just 6 days.

The magic of ‘Stree 2’ remained intact on Tuesday as well
For ‘Stree 2’, which collected more than 30 crores continuously for the first 5 days, the lowest earning day so far was Friday. Despite being a completely working day, the film collected more than 35 crores on Friday. The first drop in earnings for ‘Stree 2’ came on the sixth day of its release i.e. Tuesday.

Trade reports suggest that the film, which collected Rs 38.40 crore on Monday, has collected in the range of Rs 25 crore on Tuesday. This figure may be the smallest in the list of daily collections of ‘Stree 2’ but it is a very strong figure in itself.

‘Stree 2’ is earning at a stormy pace
The amount earned by Shraddha and Rajkumar’s film on Tuesday was more than the opening collection of the year’s biggest Hindi film ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. Prabhas’ film got an opening of Rs 22.50 crore on the first day. In 2024, the record of the biggest opening of Hindi films before ‘Stree 2’ was in the name of Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Fighter’ (24.60 crores). ‘Stree 2’ has earned more than this on the sixth day.

‘Stree’, which was released in 2018, had a lifetime net collection of around Rs 130 crore in India. If we add Tuesday’s estimates, ‘Stree 2’ has earned around Rs 267 crore in 6 days, which is more than double the first film.

By Monday, the worldwide gross collection of ‘Stree 2’ had reached Rs 335 crore. On Tuesday, the net India collection of the film was Rs 25 crore, so the worldwide gross collection has easily crossed Rs 350 crore. In the final figures, the worldwide gross of the film will be around Rs 370 crore.

Taking full advantage of two big festivals like Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan, ‘Stree 2’ has maintained a very strong hold at the box office on Tuesday as well. By Thursday, there is every chance that it will become the highest grossing Hindi film of 2024.
