‘Stree 2’ earned 300 crores in 8 days, became the top film of the year, broke the records of KGF 2 and Bahubali 2

Taking full advantage of Independence Day and Raksha Bandhan, ‘Stree 2’ earned a lot during the weekend. Now with Thursday’s collection, the film has crossed major earning landmarks and has become the biggest Hindi film of this year.

After a collection of 20.40 crores on Wednesday, ‘Stree 2’ had a net collection of 289.60 crores at the Indian box office. Even on the 8th day of its release, i.e. Thursday, the film was successful in attracting a lot of audience to the theatres.

Trade reports suggest that the film earned Rs 18.20 crore at the box office on Thursday. With this, the net India collection of the film has crossed the huge figure of Rs 300 crore. ‘Stree 2’ has earned Rs 307.80 crore in 8 days.

The biggest film of the year, broke big records
‘Stree 2’ has earned Rs 300 crore faster than ‘Bahubali 2’, which was the biggest Hindi film for many years, and Yash’s blockbuster film ‘KGF Chapter 2’. While ‘Bahubali 2’ took 10 days to earn 300 crores, ‘KGF Chapter 2’ crossed this figure in 11 days. Whereas ‘Stree 2’ has earned 300 crores in just 8 days.

Sunny Deol’s blockbuster film ‘Gadar 2’ also took only 8 days to cross 300 crores. The fastest film to reach this box office landmark is Shahrukh Khan’s ‘Jawaan’, which took 6 days. Whereas Shahrukh’s ‘Pathan’ and Ranbir Kapoor’s blockbuster ‘Animal’ earned 300 crores in 7 days.

Due to its release on Thursday, Stree 2 had a box office opening week of 8 days. Shraddha and Rajkumar’s film has surpassed Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD, which earned 293 crores, and is now the biggest Hindi film of 2024.

Now ‘Stree 2’ which is going to start its second week at the box office has full chance of getting a big jump again on Saturday-Sunday and it can be said that after completing two weeks, the film will reach 400 crores.
