The mood of the global market seems to be bad. There was chaos in the US market yesterday, due to which the threat of recession seems to be increasing once again. From DOW JONES to NASDAQ, a big decline has been recorded and its effect has also been seen on the Nifty, which has slipped by 200 points. If we talk about the Indian markets, then on Wednesday, the third trading day of the week, Sensex-Nifty also appeared under pressure and the stock market crashed as soon as the trading started.

Chaos in US Market on Tuesday

When the US market opened on Tuesday after the Labor Day holiday on Monday, there was a sudden big fall. Dow Jones and Nasdaq fell by more than 3 percent, while most sectors of S&P500 came in red. Its effect was also seen on Asian markets and Japan’s Nikkei also slipped by 3 percent. Amidst this chaos in the US market, Gift Nifty was seen trading down by about 200 points on Wednesday. Shares of chip manufacturer Nvidia (NVIDIA Share) fell the most and it fell by 10 percent.

Sensex-Nifty crashed as soon as they opened

The effect of the bad mood of the global market has also been seen on the Indian stock market. Sensex and Nifty, which closed with a slight decline on the last trading day, opened badly on Wednesday. BSE Sensex opened at 81,988.18 with a decline of 567.26 points or 0.69 percent, while NSE Nifty slipped 185.40 points or 0.73 percent to open at 25,094.40. On the last trading day, Sensex closed at the level of 82,555.44, while the Nifty index closed at the level of 25,279.85.

1605 shares fell

As soon as the market opened, 1605 stocks started trading in the red, while about 879 stocks registered a rise. Apart from this, there were 150 stocks whose position did not see any change in the initial trading. On Nifty, BPCL, Asian Paints, Sun Pharma, HDFC Bank Share saw a rise, but ONGC, Hindalco, Wipro, JSW Steel and L&T Mindtree saw a big decline.
