Amid fears of recession in the US, the Indian stock market has seen a big decline. Many big stocks have fallen by up to 5 percent. Maruti Suzuki’s shares, valued at more than Rs 12,000, have fallen by 5 percent and have fallen the most among the top 30 stocks of the BSE Sensex.

There was a huge fall in the US stock market on Thursday, the effect of which was also seen in the Indian stock market today i.e. Friday. Sensex closed at 80,981.95 points, down 885.60 points or 1.08%. Talking about Nifty50, it closed at 24,717.70 level, down 293.20 points. While its lowest level of the day was 24,686.85 level.

Let us tell you that Sensex fell 631 points and opened at 81235 level, while Nifty 50 fell 227 points and opened at 24,783. On Thursday, Sensex closed at 81,867.55, while Nifty closed above 25000 points.

What happened in America that caused the market to fall
In fact, there has been a big drop in the manufacturing PMI data in America, which is indicating that there may be a recession in America. Along with this, there has been a record increase in the number of unemployed, which has directly affected the American market. At the same time, the announcement of layoffs in the IT sector has also deepened the crisis, due to which the global IT sector is also under heavy pressure.

There was a huge decline in these big stocks
Among the top 30 shares of BSE Sensex, Maruti Suzuki shares have seen the biggest decline. It closed at Rs 12730.95 on Friday, down 4.63 percent. Tata Motors Share closed at Rs 1096.90 today, down 4.17 percent. JSW Steel shares closed down by about 4 percent and Tata Steel shares closed down by 3 percent. After this, L&T shares have fallen by 3 percent. Out of a total of 30 shares, 25 shares declined and the remaining five shares saw a slight rise.
