SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024: There is good news for the youth preparing for government jobs. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the recruitment process for more than 39 thousand posts of General Duty Constable. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in.
According to the SSC GD Constable Recruitment Exam 2025 notification, the eligible candidates will apply from September 5 to October 14, 2024. The last date for depositing the online fee is October 15. After this, the correction window will remain open from November 5 to 7. At the same time, the Computer Based Online Test (CBT) can be held in January-February 2025.

10th pass can apply
Candidates who have passed class 10th or equivalent examination from any recognized board can apply. If we talk about the age limit, then the age of eligible applicants should be at least 18 years and maximum 23 years as on 01 January 2025. However, candidates belonging to reserved category will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit. How to get a government job?
Selection for GD Constable post will include Computer Based Exam (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Test and Document Verification. Computer Based Exam (CBE) will be conducted by the Commission in English, Hindi and 13 regional languages. CBE will be of one hour duration in which 80 objective type questions will be asked. Each question will be of two marks.

Candidates selected for SSC GD Constable post will get a salary of Rs 18,000 to Rs 56,900 under Pay Level-1, while for the constable post in NCB, salary will be Rs 21,700 to Rs 69,100 under Pay Level-3.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 100. Women candidates eligible for reservation and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Ex-Servicemen (ESM) are exempted from paying the fee. The fee can be paid online using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay credit or debit cards. Candidates can visit the official website of SSC for more related details.
