Indian Railways Janmashtami Special Train: The festival of Janmashtami is celebrated in India as well as abroad. Every year it is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksha of Bhadrapada month. This time the festival of Janmashtami is on 26 August 2024. On this occasion, Indian Railways has given good news to those traveling by train. Actually, on the occasion of Janmashtami, Western Railways has announced to run a special train.
There will be no problem for confirmed tickets
On the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, people visit Krishna temples built in many states of the country. On this occasion, trains get very crowded and people are not able to get confirmed tickets. Therefore, the railways have announced to run special trains on this occasion. So that passengers do not face any kind of problem.
Janmashtami special train will run between Ahmedabad and Okha
In view of the Janmashtami festival, keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers, Western Railways has decided to run Janmashtami Festival Special train between Ahmedabad and Okha at special fare.

Train number 09453/09454 Ahmedabad-Okha Superfast Special will run (total 2 trips). Train number 09453 Ahmedabad-Okha Special will depart from Ahmedabad on 25 August (Sunday) at 07:45 am and reach Okha at 17:00 on the same day. Similarly, train number 09454 Okha-Ahmedabad Special will depart from Okha on 26 August (Monday) at 05:30 am and reach Ahmedabad at 15:00 on the same day.

In both directions, this train will stop at Chandlodia, Viramgam, Surendranagar, Than, Wankaner, Rajkot, Hapa, Jamnagar, Khambhalia and Dwarka stations. This train will have sleeper and general class coaches.
Booking will start from 31st July
Booking for train number 09453/09454 will start from July 31 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website. Detailed information regarding the route, timings, stoppages and composition of the trains has been made available on www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in.
