‘Society does not accept those who break families, that is my mistake…’, why did Ajit Pawar say this?

Assembly elections are to be held in Maharashtra this year. All the parties are busy preparing for this. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy CM Ajit Pawar has once again accepted his mistake for fielding his wife (Sunetra) against his sister (Supriya Sule). He said that fights between families are not liked in the society. Saying this, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar said that he has already accepted his mistake.

Let us tell you that this is the second time in less than a month that Pawar has publicly admitted that he made a mistake by fielding his wife against his sister and said that politics should not come into the home.

What did Ajit Pawar say?

Ajit Pawar was in Gadchiroli, Maharashtra on Friday. Where he tried to discourage Bhagyashree, daughter of party leader and minister of state Dharmarao Baba Ataram, from joining the Sharad Pawar-led NCP. There is speculation that there may be a contest between Bhagyashree and her father in the upcoming assembly elections.

Ajit Pawar said, ‘No one loves a daughter more than her father. Now you (Bhagyashree) are going to fight against your own father. Is this right? You should support your father and help him win because only he has the ability and determination to develop the area. Society never accepts breaking up of its family.’

Ajit Pawar further said, ‘Society does not like this. I have experienced this and have accepted my mistake.’ Let us tell you that the NCP led by Ajit Pawar lost 3 out of 4 seats in the Lok Sabha elections, including Baramati. At the same time, the faction led by Sharad Pawar won 8 out of 10 seats.
