You must have often heard stories about sniper guns. Which kills the target by shooting from a very far distance. But now China has made a sniper grenade launcher. Through this, anything can be targeted up to a distance of 600 meters.
The name of this gun is LG5/QLU-11. Actually it is an anti-material rifle/grenade launcher. China has been using it for many years. This gun has been made by Norinco company. If this gun is mounted on a bipod i.e. a two-legged stand, then its weight is 12.9 kg.

Grenades travel at a speed of 1000 feet per second
If mounted on a tripod, the weight increases to 23 kg. The length of the gun is 48.2 inches, i.e. about four feet. It fires 40X53mm HV and 35x32mm SR grenades. It is semi-automatic. After firing, the grenade moves towards the target at a speed of 1000 feet per second.
Can fire by installing many types of drum magazines
Although its exact firing range is 600 meters. But the shells can go up to 1000 meters or even 2000 meters. That also depends on the wind and weather. If 40X53mm HV shells are used then a drum magazine of 4 to 15 rounds is required. If 35x32mm SR grenades are to be used then a drum magazine of 3,5 and 7 rounds is required.
If R100 grenades are used, then only a three-round drum magazine is required. Its range is then 600 meters. But the target is very accurate. China has made this gun inspired by America’s Barrett XM109 anti-material rifle.
