Singer Sunidhi Chauhan said on working with Pakistani artists, ‘There is no difference between us’

Indian singer Sunidhi Chauhan’s voice is one of the iconic voices of India. Sunidhi has sung many iconic songs in Bollywood from ‘Dhoom Machale’ to ‘Bidi Jalaile’, but these days she is focusing a lot on film music as well as independent music collaborations and concerts.

Now Sunidhi has talked a lot about working with Pakistani artists in a new interview. She told why Pakistani music is becoming very popular all over the world. Sunidhi said that Indian music labels and many artists have started putting more emphasis on making the song popular and in this process the purity of music is being compromised.

He makes songs for the love of music
In Raj Shamani’s podcast, Sunidhi said, ‘I work with a lot of Pakistani people and why should I say Pakistani, because when we meet I feel that we are the same people. We are the same artists and the same people. We talk the same things, we eat the same food, we are all the same, actually, there is no difference. When I go to the US, UK, I meet a lot of Pakistani friends there too.’

Explaining the reason behind Pakistani music spreading like a wave across the world, Sunidhi said, ‘I feel that cricket and film industry are big there, but music is the biggest. Many artists are loved there, artists from there also get a lot of love here. Where the main reason is to make songs for the love of music, purity comes out from there and then the listeners feel the same.’

This Pakistani song is driving Sunidhi crazy
Sunidhi praised Pakistani Coke Studio and said, ‘Some songs are such that you wonder how they thought of this? How they did this? And many music videos.’ She said that these days she is crazy about Coke Studio Pakistan’s song ‘Turi Jaandi’ (Hasan Rahim and Shazia Mansoor). Sunidhi said that the music of this song and its video have ‘driven her mind’.
