Amar Kaushik’s 2018 film ‘Stree’ surprised the film business with its earnings and now ‘Stree 2’ has become even more popular. But many people who returned after watching the film are complaining on social media that Shraddha Kapoor’s screen time is very less. Now director Amar Kaushik has responded to this complaint of the public.

Shraddha was deliberately given less screen time
Amar defended the decision of giving Shraddha less screen time in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. He believes that keeping Shraddha’s scenes less increased the impact of her character, due to which her presence in the film became even more powerful and memorable.

Amar further said, ‘We write what is needed. We don’t think that ‘this actor will feel bad, this role is big, this role is small.’ For us, the script is the Bible and things should be organic. My producer has also given me complete freedom in this regard.’

Regarding Shraddha Kapoor’s screen time, Amar said, ‘Some people also complained that Shraddha’s screen time is less. But if Shraddha had been seen more, then the kind of entry she made would not have had an impact.’
