In Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, the whole family has taken the path of renunciation. After the grandfather, mother, father and brother in a family, now two real sisters are going to renounce worldly attachment and take the path of renunciation. Both of them had the desire to choose the path of renunciation since the year 2016. Now both of them will take Jain initiation in Delhi on 15 November.

According to the information, two sisters Brahmacharini Riya and Gunjan living in Kolaras of the district saw their grandfather, parents and brother becoming Jain saints. Inspired by them, now these two sisters have also moved forward on the path of salvation. On November 15, they will take Aryaka Diksha from Acharya Vimarsh Sagar Maharaj in Delhi and move forward on the path of self-control. Earlier, 6 members of the same family were seen in the life of Acharya Vidyasagar Maharaj who was in Samadhi.

People of the local Jain community say that a group of 13 new initiates including Vishu Didi had come to Shivpuri and due to their devotion, Vinauli took place and Godh Bharai was done. Now on November 15, Acharya Vimarsh Sagar Maharaj, who is doing Chaturmas in Delhi, will give initiation to all of them and provide them sanskar.

Riya Didi and Gunjan Didi say that when all the members of the family have become ascetics, how could they like the life of a recluse, so they have chosen the path of asceticism. Both are real sisters. Riya Didi is 25 years old, she has studied up to higher secondary. She is skilled in sewing and embroidery. Whenever there was a wedding in the city, Riya Didi’s name used to come first among those who applied mehendi, while Gunjan Didi is 29 years old, she has studied up to BA.

Members of Riya and Gunjan’s family have taken initiation and become Jain saints. These include father Muni Vishwarth Sagar, mother Aaryika Vinayashree, brother Muni Vishubh Sagar and grandfather Muni Vishwant Sagar Maharaj, who took initiation from Acharya Vimarsh Sagar Maharaj in Devendra Nagar Panna in the year 2016.

When these two sisters saw this, a feeling of renunciation arose in their minds. Now they have resolved to walk on this difficult path of salvation. According to Jain tradition, after taking the vow of Aaryika, one has to break ties with the world and family. Therefore, these two sisters first practiced it at home and then took the final decision to walk on the path of religious practice by taking the vow of celibacy.
