She prepared by learning to write with her left hand, this is how she cleared the NEET exam, this disabled daughter of Bihar is an example

Despite physical disability, a girl from Muzaffarpur, Bihar has made her mark in a tough exam like NEET. Pampum Kumari, a resident of Badi Kothiya in Muzaffarpur, suffers from hemiplegia. Despite this, the student has qualified NEET in the first attempt and passed the medical entrance exam. Pampum has secured 1180 rank in NEET from the PwD category.

Dharamveer Kumar, the director of the school where Pampum studied, said that Pampum was very intelligent from the first grade and all the teachers of the school loved her a lot. During lunch time, other children used to go to play in the ground and she used to study in the school library. Seeing this, I also used to help her in studies at that time. This helped her a lot. Despite being physically ill, she did with her willpower what is usually very difficult even for a normal student. Pampum has a lot of difficulty in walking, writing and speaking but she practiced writing and other things with her left hand and passed NEET.

Pampum fulfilled her childhood dream

Pampum had a childhood dream of becoming a doctor and recently she has made that dream come true by qualifying NEET. But she practiced writing and other things with her left hand and after passing NEET, she has taken admission in the famous Sri Krishna Singh Medical College of Muzaffarpur. In a conversation with Aaj Tak, Pampum said that even though she is handicapped in her hands and legs, she can achieve her goal with her hard work.

Pampam further said that due to this disease she had to face taunts from many people, but she did not lose her courage. For this success, she kept faith in herself, worked hard and ignored the words of those who thought that she was a handicapped and could not do anything in life. Father Virendra Kumar and mother Hemlata Devi along with grandfather Bachcha Rai and grandmother Hira Devi are very happy with Pampam’s success. They say that the whole family was worried about the daughter’s disability and what would happen to her future.

Due to her inability to walk, she was admitted to Dolphin Public School in the village so that she would not have to go far. She achieved success by studying and preparing at home, due to which the whole family is very happy and proud of their daughter.
