Jabalpur Mentally Handicapped Woman Rape case: A shameful incident has come to light in the campus of a government medical college and hospital in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday. Where a 24-year-old mentally handicapped woman was raped. However, as soon as the incident was revealed, the police arrested the accused.
This shameful incident took place in the premises of NSCB Medical College and Hospital in Jabalpur. Giving information about this, Nilesh Dohre, in-charge of Gadha police station, told PTI that a 22-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with the incident that took place in the premises of NSCB Medical College and Hospital.
Providing further information, police station in-charge Inspector Nilesh Dohre said that this action has been taken on the basis of the complaint lodged by the workers of the social organization Moksha Sanstha.
Ashish Thakur, founder of Moksh Sanstha, told reporters that the woman was living in the shelter home of the Medical College and Hospital for the last one and a half months. When his workers came to know about the incident that happened with her, they immediately reached the spot and then took the victim to the police station. Where a complaint of the incident was lodged.
