Rape in a moving car: A shameful case of rape has come to light from Gonda in Uttar Pradesh. Where a minor Dalit girl was raped in a moving car. During this, the car of the accused collided with an electric pole. After this, the accused fled leaving the car and the victim girl there. Now the police is searching for the accused.
Manoj Kumar Pathak, Inspector-in-Charge of Gonda’s Nagar Kotwali, while giving information in this case, said that the victim is 17 years old. She belongs to the Dalit community. The victim’s mother had come to the police station on Sunday and given a written complaint in this regard.
SHO Manoj Kumar Pathak further said that the police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint and after that, they raided and arrested both the accused. It is said in the complaint that the girl was raped that day.
The woman has written in her complaint that her daughter was lured and dragged into the car by the two accused. After this, they took her to a deserted place on Circular Road and raped her in the moving car.
Station House Officer Manoj Kumar Pathak, citing the same complaint, further said that while the accused were raping her, they lost control of the car and it hit an electric pole, following which the accused abandoned the vehicle and fled.
According to the police, the victim somehow reached her home and told her family members about the incident. Then her mother went to the police station on Sunday and lodged a complaint. SHO Pathak said that an FIR has been registered and the accused have been arrested. The victim has been sent for medical examination.
According to the police officer, the police have also recovered the car which the accused had borrowed from a friend saying that he had to go to attend the funeral of a relative. Now a detailed investigation is going on in this case.
