There were speculations for a long time that Shahrukh Khan is going to do the film ‘King’ with daughter Suhana. Fans have good news that this news about King Khan is absolutely true. The actor confirmed at the Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland that he is going to do the film ‘King’. At this event, the actor was honored with the Pardo Alla Carriera Award for his contribution to cinema.
Shahrukh’s upcoming movie will be ‘King’
Here the actor also made an interesting revelation about his upcoming film. In a conversation with artistic director Giona A. Nazzaro, Shahrukh revealed the back story of signing the film ‘King’. He says- Last year I finished ‘Jawan’ and ‘Dunky. Now I wanted to do a special kind of film. Maybe age centric or something else which I have been trying to do for the last 7 years. One day, I talked to Sujoy Ghosh about this in my office. He said- Yes sir, I have a subject.

On his process of selecting a film, Shahrukh said- It is simple. I want to work in a particular genre – whether it is comedy, courtroom drama or social, I tell this in public. I meet some people. Many have such a subject, so I listen to their story. I spend time with them. Then we move forward and make the film.
Shahrukh will lose weight
The actor said- My next film is ‘King’. I have to start working on it. For the movie, I have to lose weight, stretch a little so that my back does not hurt while doing stunts. It is painful and hurtful. I have two bags full of icing machines. The worst thing is to see me on the set after action. I may look cool in the movie but after that I look tied up. Someone is pressing my back. It is difficult for me to walk. Then suddenly I see people and send them flying kisses.
Talking about the movie King, his daughter Suhana will also be seen in it. This is their first collaboration. Suhana made her acting debut with the movie ‘The Archies’. But her first movie failed to create a buzz. Shahrukh’s last release was ‘Dunky’.
