Jayasuriya denied the allegations

Jayasuriya said in his public statement- Thank you to all those who congratulated me on my birthday and showed their support. I am currently busy due to my personal commitments. My family and I have been in the US for the last one month and during this time, two false allegations were naturally made against me on the basis of sexual harassment. This has broken me, my family and all those who have seen me closely.

“I have decided to pursue this matter legally. My legal team will take care of the rest of the proceedings related to this case. It is easy for a person who lacks conscience to make false allegations. I only hope that someone understands that facing a false allegation of harassment is as painful as the harassment itself. Lies always spread faster than the truth, but I believe that the truth will prevail.”

Actor will fight legal battle

“I will return as soon as I finish my work here. All legal proceedings will continue to prove my innocence. I have full faith in our law. Thanks to those who contributed to making this birthday the most painful. People who have not sinned should be stoned, but only those who have sinned.”

Malayalam cinema is facing many setbacks continuously. An actress has accused popular actor Jayasurya of sexually harassing her, on the basis of which these cases were registered. An FIR has been registered against Jayasurya under section 354 of the Indian Penal Code.
