Shiva’s five letter mantra
“Om Namah Shivaya” is the Panchakshari Mantra of Lord Shiva. It is filled with the power of the five elements. Continuous chanting of this mantra surely brings the blessings of Lord Shiva. This is the Shadakshar form of this mantra. “Om Namah Shivaya” This mantra should be recited for the welfare of people or others.
Mahamrityunjaya Mantra of Lord Shiva
This mantra is chanted for freedom from incurable diseases and good health. In this mantra, Lord Shiva in the form of Mahamrityunjaya protects the devotee with a pot of nectar. This mantra has a short four-syllable form. “Om Haum Joon Sa”. It can be chanted continuously.
The mantra to revive the dead is Mahamrityunjaya Mantra: “Om Hraun Jun Sah. Om Bhurbhavah Swah. Om Tryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam.” This mantra is used when there is a situation like death.
Shiv Tandava Stotra
Shiv Tandava Stotra is a special hymn done by Ravana, a great devotee of Lord Shiva. This hymn is in verse and has many figures of speech. This hymn can be recited in any difficult situation. Its recitation is especially beneficial in the condition of inauspicious planets. It would be best if it is recited along with dancing. After reciting, meditate on Lord Shiva and offer your prayers.
Poverty Eradication Bhajan
This stotra is written by Maharishi Vashishtha. Poverty is eradicated by reciting it. If the financial condition is bad, then you must recite it. It should be recited in both the times. It is important to maintain sattvikta while reciting it.
Rules for chanting Shiva Mantra
It is best to chant Lord Shiva’s mantras using Rudraksha beads. It would be best if the mantra is chanted during Pradosh period. Before chanting the mantra, one should meditate on the Kalyanasundram form of Lord Shiva. Do not try to harm anyone with Shiva’s mantras.
