‘Save me, save me, I kept shouting, no one came…’, Video of the candidate who lost his life in Jharkhand Police Recruitment, family raised questions on 10KM race

In Jharkhand, many candidates fainted in the race organized for the recruitment of constables of the excise department. Out of these, 11 people have died so far. Many questions are being raised about this incident. At the same time, the administration is making many claims about the cause of death. A video of one such deceased youth Arun Kumar before his death has surfaced, in which he told that when he was fainting, despite asking for help, no officer came to save him. He also said that he had not taken any medicine before the race.

During a race in Palamu, a promising youth named Arun Kumar suddenly fell unconscious. He was immediately admitted to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital. When his condition worsened, he was referred to RIMS Ranchi. On the wishes of the family, he was admitted to a private hospital in Medininagar. He died here during treatment on 30 August.

Arun’s dream remained unfulfilled

Arun Kumar was a promising youth. He had graduated in English honours from St. Xavier’s College, Ranchi and also had a diploma in electrical engineering. Arun’s dream was to get a government job. For this, he was preparing for competitive exams while staying in Ranchi. According to his brother, Arun used to practice running regularly and he was fully prepared for this recruitment exam. Only his brother knew about the race, other family members were not aware of it.

Before fainting, Arun had pleaded for help

A video of Arun Kumar just before his death has surfaced. In this, he is saying that he had not consumed any intoxicants or taken any medicine. In the video, Arun is also seen saying that when his health deteriorated, he pleaded for help from the officials present there, but no one paid any attention to him. This video points towards administrative negligence, which could be the main reason for this tragic incident.

The family held the government responsible

Arun’s cousin Manshu Kumari, who was with him in the same race, has directly blamed the government for this incident. She says that physical examinations should not have been conducted in this hot and humid weather. She has demanded the government to investigate this matter seriously. Arun’s father Girja Ram said that his son was given plasma, which probably caused his death.
