Sanjay Nishad made an announcement regarding UP by-election, the party will field its candidates on two seats

In the by-elections to be held in Uttar Pradesh, the Nishad Party will field its candidates on two seats with its election symbol. These two assembly seats are Katehari and Manjhwa. This has been announced by the Nirbal Indian Shoshit Hamara Aamdal (Nishad) Party on the 9th foundation day of the Nishad Party.

Nishad Party will field candidates on its election symbol

On the occasion of the foundation day of Nishad Party, a program was organized at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Lucknow. In this, National President of Nishad Party and Minister in Uttar Pradesh Government Sanjay Nishad said that the party had contested on the seat of Kathari Ambedkar Nagar district and the seat of Mahanjhwa Mirzapur with its own election symbol and now in the coming elections also, it will field candidates on its own election symbol on both the seats.

According to BJP spokesperson Manish Shukla, no decision has been taken by the NDA regarding the candidates yet. Nor has any public announcement been made. Nothing has been decided yet about who will contest on these seats.

Suspense continues over polling dates

By-elections are to be held on 10 seats in UP. Out of the 10 vacant seats, five were with the SP – Sisamau, Katehari, Karhal, Milkipur and Kundarki. Whereas, Phulpur, Ghaziabad, Majhawan and Khair were with the BJP. The Meerapur seat was with the BJP’s ally Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD).

The Election Commission has not announced the dates for the by-elections to be held on 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. There is still suspense over the dates of voting on these seats. The commission said in a press conference on Friday that monsoon is active in some states. There are 46 assembly and one Lok Sabha seats where elections are to be held. By-elections are to be held on a total of 47 seats.
