At first glance, it may look like a flagship smartphone, but how is the performance? However, due to the aluminum frame, it may also remind you of the Galaxy S series. We used this smartphone for about 1 month. During this time we reviewed it from all angles. Let’s know about it in detail.

Strong design in Samsung Galaxy A55

If you have seen the Samsung Galaxy A54, then the Samsung Galaxy A55 may seem like an older version to you, however when you look closely at the latest version, it is quite different. The company has used an aluminum frame instead of plastic, which adds to its look. We reviewed the ‘Awesome Iceblue’ variant, which may look a bit like the Blue iPhone 15.

Samsung Galaxy A55 has Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection on both sides. Samsung has introduced Key island with this handset. In this, the frame on the right side of the phone has been raised a bit, in which the volume and power buttons have been fitted. This may seem unnecessary to you, but when you are moving around, it proves to be very useful.

Samsung Galaxy A55 display

Samsung Galaxy A55 has a 6.6-inch display, which comes with 120Hz refresh rates. In such a situation, it may look a bit smaller than other phones in this price segment. This display gives a good experience with videos.

Performance of Samsung Galaxy A55

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G uses the in-house chipset Exynos 1480. It has 12GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage. If you are not a heavy gamer, then this is good for you. If you play games for a long time, it gets hot. This is a good program for daily tasks. When we used it continuously for 20 minutes, it started heating up.

Camera of Samsung Galaxy A55

Samsung Galaxy A55 has a triple rear camera setup. It has a 50MP primary camera, a secondary camera of 12MP and a 5MP macro sensor. A 32MP selfie camera has been provided for selfies. The company has given two modes in it, where the default is a 12MP camera, you can switch and select the 50MP mode. The 12MP mode has the feature of zooming in up to 10x and zooming out to take wide-angle shots. Pictures with more details can be clicked in 50MP.

When we used the zoom, we liked it up to 5X zoom, but after zooming more than that the details in the photo started reducing. Overall, this is not a flagship camera. However, the picture quality is a little better.

Samsung Galaxy A55 Battery

Samsung Galaxy A55 has a 5000mAh battery and a 25W fast charger is provided with it. If you charge the battery from 0-100 percent, it can take about 90 minutes and this speed may seem quite low. Many phones in this price segment offer fast charging facility, with the help of which the charging time can be reduced significantly. Samsung does not provide a charging adapter with this phone, which has to be purchased separately.

Bottom Line

Overall, Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is a good phone. The look, body and back panel of the phone look very good. The aluminum body is quite attractive. It gives you the feel of a premium phone at a low price. However, if you are looking for a performance-oriented phone, then it may disappoint you. Its performance is not bad, but it may disappoint gamers a bit. The camera could be better, but this camera setup is quite average.
