Saharanpur: There was a fight between two parties going to visit Maa Shakumbhari Devi, there was a dispute over the sound of DJ

A video of a fight has gone viral from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh. Where in village Bhaguwala located in Thana Behat area, two groups of devotees going to visit Maa Shakumbhari Devi got into an argument over the loud sound of DJ and the matter escalated to a fight. Many people from both sides have been injured in this incident, who have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

As soon as the information of the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and controlled the situation. Confirming the incident, the SSP said that there was an altercation between the two parties. After which the matter escalated to a fight. It is being told that one of the two parties had come from Shamli district to visit Maa Shakumbhari Devi, while the other party was local.

After the intervention and persuasion of the police, both the parties resolved the dispute by mutual consent. The SSP said that if any legal complaint is received, appropriate action will be taken accordingly. Also, both the parties have been advised to undergo medical tests so that any kind of medical need can be met. After the incident, peace prevails in the village and surrounding areas. The police is monitoring the situation so that no untoward incident occurs in future.
