In Saharanpur, UP, a fight broke out between the wedding party and the villagers, due to which there was a stir in the village. A dozen people were injured in the incident. It is alleged that the wedding party started making videos of the girls standing on the roof to see the groom. The villagers did not like this and they opposed it. After which an argument started between the two sides. Soon sticks and bricks started flying.

According to the people present on the spot, a wedding procession from Begi Rustam had come to Shahpur village of Thana Gangoh area. As soon as they entered the village, a fight broke out between the wedding party and the villagers. Because, the boys who had come in the wedding procession climbed on the JCB and started making videos of the girls watching the groom. When the villagers refused to make the video, a ruckus broke out. Meanwhile, the wedding party members caught hold of some villagers and beat them up badly.

There was heavy stone pelting between the wedding party and the villagers. Sticks were also used. Its video is going viral on social media. Many people have been injured in the riot. Police reached the spot after getting the information. The injured were admitted to the hospital. The incident created panic in the village.

Chaos in the wedding procession, many people got injured

Actually, the wedding procession had come to Shahpur from village Begi Rustam of Thana Gangoh area. Meanwhile, some wedding guests were sitting on top of a JCB machine and making videos of the girls standing on the roof. When some villagers protested against this, the wedding guests attacked them. There was a huge uproar between the villagers and the wedding guests. The injured have been admitted to Gangoh Primary Health Center. Their condition is out of danger.

According to SP Rural Sagar Jain, there was a ruckus between two parties in Gangoh police station yesterday. There were two parties, the baraatis and the villagers. There was an altercation between them. After this, a fight broke out. The police got the injured people from both the parties medically examined and registered a case on the basis of the complaint of both. Two people from each side have been arrested and presented before the court. The arrest of the rest who are absconding will also be ensured.
