Saurabh Babbar, a businessman living in Saharanpur, UP, troubled by his creditors, jumped into the Ganga in Haridwar with his wife Mona. Saurabh died in this incident while the search for Mona’s body is still on. When Saurabh’s body reached home late in the evening (12 August), there was an uproar. When Saurabh’s 7-year-old disabled son lit the funeral pyre of his father, everyone’s eyes were filled with tears.
Let us tell you that Saurabh and Mona have two children. The daughter is 11 years old and the son is 7 years old. The son is handicapped. He performed the last rites of his father Saurabh Babbar. A large number of local people had gathered at the time of the funeral. They bid a tearful farewell to the businessman.
At the same time, there is a stream of people coming to the house of the deceased businessman Saurabh Babbar to offer condolences. On receiving the information, former Saharanpur MP and BJP leader Raghav Lakhanpal reached the spot. He consoled the family. The BJP leader wrote on ‘X’ – This extremely sad news has shocked everyone. Saurabh of Mohalla Kishanpura has committed suicide by jumping into the Ganga along with his wife. Everyone’s eyes became moist after seeing Saurabh’s son performing his last rites. May God give strength to these children.

It is known that Saurabh Babbar, a resident of Kishanpura in Nagar Kotwali area, had a jeweler’s shop in the same locality. On Sunday night, Saurabh Babbar went to Haridwar with his wife Mona Babbar on a bike. On Monday, his body was found in the Gang Canal. Wife Mona is still missing. Saurabh owed people a lot of money and was heavily in debt. He has two children, whom he left at his grandparents’ house before dying.
However, no one knew then that the couple would take such a big step. At present, the family members are crying inconsolably. The family members are unable to hold back their tears after seeing the faces of the innocent children. This incident has shaken everyone.
