Sagar triple murder case solved, sister-in-law and nieces killed for taunting, brother-in-law turned out to be the murderer

Revealing the triple murder in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, the police has arrested two accused. The killer turned out to be none other than the woman’s brother-in-law and the uncle of the innocent girls. On July 30, the bodies of the woman and her two daughters were found in a three-storey house in Nepal Palace in front of the police control room. There was panic in the area after this incident.

Police said that the accused brother-in-law is an employee of the PWD department and he became a debtor due to online betting. His mother and sister-in-law often taunted him about the debt, fed up of which, he brutally murdered his sister-in-law and two innocent nieces.

Brother-in-law turns out to be the murderer of sister-in-law and nieces

It is being told that the accused had demanded money from his sister-in-law. On which both of them had an argument and sister-in-law taunted him about the money given earlier. Pravesh Patel got angry at this and he started fighting with his sister-in-law. After this, he went to the kitchen and killed sister-in-law Vandana by hitting her 4-5 times with an axe. After this, he also killed both the nieces. Then he ran away wearing his elder brother’s clothes and taking the jewellery and cash kept in the cupboard to show loot.

During interrogation, the accused told the police that he had gone to his elder brother Vishesh Patel’s house on July 30 at 5 pm. The brother had not returned home from duty and he asked for money from his sister-in-law. On this, the sister-in-law said that we are not able to move forward because of you. You keep taking money from your brother every day. In anger, he pushed the sister-in-law and she collided with the wall. After this, he picked up the sickle kept in the kitchen and attacked the sister-in-law, killing her. After this, he killed both the nieces.

Police arrested the main accused and his accomplice

Police said that they suspected Pravesh Patel from the very beginning. After investigation, he was taken into custody from his in-laws’ house and when he was strictly questioned, he confessed all his crimes. Police have recovered the clothes worn at the time of the incident, the doormat, the sickle and stone used in the incident, a gold necklace, four silver bangles, Rs 10,000 in cash and a car from the accused. Prakash Patel, a partner of the main accused Pravesh Patel, has also been made a co-accused in this incident.
