Ruckus in Rajasthan assembly, Congress MLA clashed with marshal, woman MLA’s bangles broken

There was a lot of uproar in the Rajasthan Assembly on Monday. The speaker called the marshals to remove suspended Congress MLA Mukesh Bhakar from the House. When the marshals tried to remove Mukesh Bhakar from the House, the Congress MLAs got angry with them. During this, senior Congress MLA Harimohan Sharma fell in the scuffle. After the entire incident, opposition MLAs, led by Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie, have sat on a dharna in the House. The opposition members are demanding that the suspension of Congress MLA Bhakar be reinstated.

Amid the uproar, the Congress women MLAs sitting on a dharna in the House said that they were injured in the scuffle with the marshals. While talking to the media, the women MLAs said that I have been beaten up. I was grabbed, I have also suffered a lot of injuries. I was pushed around a lot. Other MLAs also fell down. I will tell the Speaker Sir that when women are not safe in the House itself, how will they be safe outside. During this, she was also holding a broken bangle in her hand.

Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie issued a statement on this matter and said that we will sit on dharna in the House throughout the night. Our MLA Mukesh Bhakar has been wrongly suspended. Our women MLAs have been pushed and molested.

‘The government is facing a constitutional crisis’

He also said that the government is facing a constitutional crisis. The government had appointed PP and APP under the old law i.e. CRPC. And now new criminal laws have been implemented in place of CRPC. Therefore, these appointments have become void. We had demanded from the government that the government should answer on this, but the government does not want to answer on this.

‘We will oppose what is wrong’

He further said that the people of the ruling party provoke our MLAs, which leads to uproar in the House. We are putting forth our views under the rights given to us under the rules. We will oppose anything that is wrong. Our member Mukesh Bhakar has been thrown out, which is condemnable. When I was speaking, the members of the ruling party were speaking from the other side, so our MLA asked them to sit down. In such a situation, the action taken against our MLA is wrong. Laws and rules are being flouted in the House.

Apart from this, Chand Kriplani, while speaking in the House, said, “Leader of Opposition Julie, we are not listening to you. We are demanding that Dotasara be made the Leader of Opposition. We demand from party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi to make Dotasara the Leader of Opposition.”
