A major accident took place in Vinod Bihar on Malipur Road in Saharanpur due to the collapse of the road. Due to which 4 workers including a councilor who was working on the sewer line got buried under the debris and got injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. The residents of the locality got angry due to this incident and blocked the road and also raised slogans against the Municipal Corporation.
The residents of the locality alleged that there is no water supply in the locality for a long time. Complaints have been made to the Municipal Corporation several times regarding this, but no one is listening to us. On Sunday, the workers of the Municipal Corporation came to check the sewer line and were looking at the water problem with the councilor, when the road collapsed and the councilor along with the workers got buried.
