Rewa: Doctor beaten to death on charges of molesting wife of de-addiction centre operator, 5 arrested

A doctor was brutally beaten to death in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in custody and sent it for postmortem and started investigating the case. Based on the complaint of the deceased’s family, the police detained 5 suspects and started questioning them. After this incident, the deceased’s family is crying inconsolably and is demanding the strictest punishment against the accused.

This incident took place in Civil Line Padmadhar Colony of the city. The deceased has been identified as Dr. Rudra Sen Gupta and he used to work in a de-addiction center. It is being told that the doctor was brutally beaten up after being accused of molestation. The doctor was admitted to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in a critical condition. He died during treatment.

Doctor beaten to death on charges of molestation

Doctor Rudra Sen Gupta was beaten up accusing him of molestation. He was accused of molesting the wife of the director of the de-addiction centre. It is being told that the accused called the doctor to the de-addiction centre on Monday night. Then the director Nilesh Tiwari and Shashank Tiwari along with others beat him brutally.

On this matter, SP Vivek Singh said that in the case of murder of the doctor, the police have registered a case of murder against five accused. Five have been taken into custody on the basis of suspicion and two are absconding. Raids are being conducted at various places in search of them.

5 arrested on murder charges, 2 absconding

The accused director of the de-addiction centre suspected that the doctor was in love with his wife. Due to which he, along with his staff and relatives, murdered him. The police have arrested Priyanka Tiwari, Prasun Tiwari and Shashank Tiwari, while the main accused Nilesh Tiwari and another are absconding.
