An elderly man was shot dead on Wednesday afternoon near Stellar Jeevan Society in Bisrakh police station area in Greno West, Greater Noida. The elderly man was sitting on a bench in the green belt when the criminals committed the murder. When the family found the elderly man dead, they informed the police. The deceased has been identified as Hari Prasad, a retired Home Ministry officer.
After getting the information, the police reached the spot and saw that the person had a head injury. The police said that the reason for the injury is not known yet. But it seems that the death must have happened due to a serious head injury. People say that the old man was shot dead. The police reached the spot and took the body in their custody and sent it for post-mortem.
Retired officer found dead on a bench in Green Belt
DCP Central Noida Suniti said that an elderly man was found dead on a bench in the green belt near Stellar Jeevan Society under Bisrakh police station area in Greater Noida West. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and saw that the person had a head injury. Police busy investigating the matter
Only after the postmortem report comes, it will be confirmed what the injury was. The DCP said that the deceased person has been identified as Hari Prasad who lived in Stellar Jeevan Society. The family members of the deceased have been informed about the incident and are present at the spot.
